Orientation session
Our Academic Affairs and Medical Education team will host a virtual orientation session on the first day of your rotation. The confirmation letter emailed to you includes more details about orientation.
Identification (ID) badge
You’ll receive a WellSpan Health ID badge and need to wear it at all times during your rotation.
Your ID badge provides access to certain areas and must be returned to at the end of your rotation. Instructions on how to obtain a WellSpan Health ID badge are included in your confirmation letter.
Parking
Free parking is available in several WellSpan Health locations. Further instructions on parking will be provided at your orientation with the Academic Affairs and Medical Education team.
Food services
You can choose from several food and beverage options on our various campus sites. However, meals aren’t included as part of your rotation.
Library services
A medical librarian is available Monday through Friday during usual business hours at our medical library locations:
- WellSpan York Hospital — Hoover Medical Library
- WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital — Krohn Memorial Library
- WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital — Medical Library
Computer access
Computers and workstations are located throughout WellSpan for your use. Additionally, we offer free public WiFi at all our locations.
